Feeling that ’60s Inspo

Feeling that ’60s Inspo

Earlier this year I saw the movie Chappaquiddick and was inspired by the styling from the 60’s. Kate Mara had white sunglasses so I had to run out and buy them too! But I really do love the look of them. I don’t know why I think of gingham and bright colors as 60’s but this was my interpretation of it. And I don’t know if the pictures show off these shoes but they are so cute! They are gingham and the heel is embroidered flowers!!

I know typically people avoid wearing red and yellow together because it looks like ketchup and mustard but I love it! And I think done right like here with the black gingham pops and the straw bag help to pull away from that reference. Is there a color combo you don’t wear? Let me know your thoughts below!

I was a blog slacker so you will be seeing my summer fits until I post them all or until it gets colder I guess which ever happens first!! Did you miss my It’s Bananas…It’s FALL post.  This is probably one of my favorite summer outfits ever Getting More Out of Your Wardrobe. Thanks for reading!!
